Google Bard's new chart creation features allow you to easily visualize data. With just a few prompts, you can now have Bard generate customized charts and graphs from your data.
To create a chart in Bard, you have two options:
Start by prompting Bard for the data you want in a table format. For example:
"What are the largest 7 laptop makers in the US by market share? Put that in a table."
Once Bard returns a table, prompt it to:
"Create a chart from this data."
Bard will then generate a pie chart, bar graph, or other chart visualization of the table data.
You can also copy data from a spreadsheet or other source and paste it directly into a Bard prompt.
Make sure to structure the data with clear labels and values separated by commas or line breaks. Then prompt Bard:
"Create a chart from this data [paste data]"
Bard will generate a labeled chart from the supplied data.
After creating a chart, you can customize it by selecting "Modify" and choosing alternate chart types. Regenerate the draft for a completely new chart.
To save your work, take a screenshot of the Bard chart. The current Share options don't allow exporting charts, so a screenshot is needed to capture the image.
Hot Take:
Google Bard's new data visualization features make it easy for anyone to generate customized charts and graphs without specialized software or coding skills. Just prompt Bard with your data structured properly, and it handles turning tables into visually appealing charts. This makes Bard a versatile tool for learning, research, business analytics, and more.
